Tracey Emin comes to Rome with a new solo show at Galleria Lorcan O'Neill Roma opening on Saturday October 7 2006. The exhibition will last until November 2006.

The show will present special new works made with a wide variety of media such as paintings, neons and embroideries for which she's could be recognized as a master. These various techniques and themes reflect her complex artistic personality. The muted hues in the works combined with her strong lines and images make an impressive and powerful impact on viewers in a warm and cosy atmosphere.

In this show, Emin is exploring her personal past and life through her deepest thoughts and dreams. She portrays herself as a sexy and erotic icon as well as a naked and undefended human being looking for love. The works could represent a hymn to Love and Sex intensively part of women’s life. Her exploration of life and thoughts gives Emin's work much of its truth and power.

Recently a large monographic book there has been published by Rizzoli. The gallery will present it here in Rome for the first time together with the show.
